About the California Youth Tobacco Survey

The California Youth Tobacco Survey is being conducted by RTI International through a grant from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The purpose of the study is to learn more about the use of tip lines in schools through a nationally representative survey. This survey will generate the first national data on the use of tip lines in U.S. schools and will provide a greater understanding of the various ways tip lines are used, common implementation challenges, and other factors important to school leaders and policymakers who are considering implementing a tip line.
