The California Youth Tobacco Survey is being conducted by RTI International through a grant from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The purpose of the study is to learn more about the use of tip lines in schools through a nationally representative survey. This survey will generate the first national data on the use of tip lines in U.S. schools and will provide a greater understanding of the various ways tip lines are used, common implementation challenges, and other factors important to school leaders and policymakers who are considering implementing a tip line.
RTI International is an independent, nonprofit research institute based in North Carolina. Our mission is to improve the human condition by turning knowledge into practice. To learn more about RTI, please visit: www.rti.org.
